Update: 02/11/2025

Great news for everyone today, I'd like to officially announce that the outline is finished! And with that, a little peak on how I'm going to be releasing the comic.

The basic process goes as follows: outline, script-writing, illustrating. I'm sure some better comic artists than me could jump straight from outlining to illustrating, but I find having somewhat of a movie script to follow along with speeds the whole process up in the end. Now, this might sound like it'll take awhile, but fret not! The comic is broken up into 8 chapters, and once I finish scriptwriting one, I'll immediately begin the illustration process. Basically, I'm doing both simultaneously. There's also visual development, which I'll be doing over the next month... which I'm vaguely setting aside for editing and sketching. November is a busy month as a uni student. I'll post a bunch of that here, don't worry ;)

P.S. expect a main character intro post in the next couple of days.

Happy Monday! Things are progressing quite swimmingly over here, and I'm finally reaching the last stages of my outline. With that, I've begun some proper visual development, and therefore, have some stuff to show you.

Meet James Fuller and Christine An, two of our most important side characters. Both in their early 30s, James works as an elementary student teacher, Christine as an art gallery curator. They're relatively well off. James is a extreme nerd, prone to tinfoil hat conspiracies and a collector of old photography, being really into film and idolising completely the technology of the 1980s. He was born and raised in Kitchener, ON, though not German, he could look the part. He's a deeply unserious man, but passionate, nonetheless. On the other hand, his fiancee Christine is much more... Put together. On the side, she works as the occasional graphic designer and costume designer, she treats days-off like the plague. Oh, and, she's a Toronto native, raised in Chinatown. The two just began running their own leftist publishing house, starting with a magazine, and hoping to expand to other forms of publication. Who knows if they'll stick with it.
They've been friends for awhile now with another character I'd love to show you...

The second, or perhaps equally most important character to our main man (Mark Murphy), is Stephen Makowski. Living in North York, Stephen works as a bassist for a strange sort of, alt-rock jazz fusion group, of which he inputs very little creatively. Oh, and he bartends every once and awhile. Aside from that, he's mainly still financially supported by his parents, who own a business out in Manitoba. Don't remind him. Stephen is a relatively chill guy, or at least he's good at pretending to be one. As of late, hes felt like nothing but a deadbeat, with no motivation to boot. Anyways, he goes back a long way with Mark... The two meeting as housemates in university, and being almost inseperable in those 4 years. Time, moving, etc. caused them to drift apart, but once Mark re-enters his life, his once stagnant existence is shaken up completely.

Anyways, that's all I got for you. Stay warm out there.

Picking up coding again so I can get this site going, here we go. Welcome! I don't have too much to say yet... Don't wanna spoil anything, so for now, enjoy some molecules of our two main characters. Feel free to print them out and stick them on your fridge. Oh, character intros soon!
