may 25th 2026: new year, new me, new direction.

hi, this is my website. you can call me jp. if you had visited this website in the past, it would've looked a lot different. that's because this was originally meant to be a website for a singular project of mine. after a year of floundering around and getting distracted, i decided this site would be a better use of my time if it was all around just a blog. a place for me to share what i'm up to, whether that be in meatspace or whatever. plans are to have a gallery page, which will function as somewhat of a portfolio for my art and photography, a page for all of my current artistic projects, and then a little spot for me to talk about music, the shows i'm going to, and all that.

the landing page here will function as a general blog, site-life update. basically anything that doesn't fit into the confines of the other categories. my goal is to update it at least once a week, lets see if i keep up.

your trivia of the week: the name 'southill drive' is lifted from the song weigh it down by musician joel plaskett off his debut solo album, in need of medical attention, where it appears in the second verse, as so:
